Cross country regionals scheduled for Saturday

The high school cross country postseason will begin Saturday with Louisville-area runners competing in one of four regional meets.

The state meet is set for next Saturday at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington. Depending on the number of teams in each regional, at least one and as many as six squads in each regional qualify for the state meet. The top five individuals not on qualifying teams also advance.
