Tell us how you prove yourself for a chance to win an iPad

Whether it’s making varsity, nailing a game-winning 3-pointer at state or anything in between, every athlete knows how they proved themselves in sports.

For the past three weeks, we’ve asked you to share your “Prove Yourself” moment for a chance to win an iPad. And the answers have been too good not to share.

So each day from now until the Everything To Prove Sweepstakes ends on Jan. 8, we’ll be sharing some of your most inspirational “Prove Yourself” moments.

Share your “Prove Yourself” moment here for a chance to win an iPad.

I was cut from the tennis team as a freshman. Worked hard all summer and made the team as a sophomore and played in the #3 spot.
- Morgan Warner, Grosse Pointe South (Gross Pointe, Mich.)

My gym teacher said I was too "prissy" to play basketball. That summer I made her best player cry by getting her out at home plate.
- Pam Walters, Belle Chasse High (Belle Chasse, La.)

I prove myself when I play soccer by pushing through my arthritis pain. Each step is painful, but I love the game and my team.
- Austin Otto, Hill-Murray (Maplewood, Minn.)

I'm 16, a junior and have been playing varsity football for three years. I live and breathe football. I play both offense and defense.
- Brandon McKone, Bentley (Burton, Mich.)

I tried out and made the select basketball team after having a fractured wrist.
- Jared Chambers, Inglemoor (Kenmore, Wash.)
