White County found the most dramatic way to win a game after seeming to blow a (very) late lead: With a three quarter-court buzzer beater.
The hero in question here was White County star Brad Hurst, who slipped into an opening at the top of the arc after Forsyth Central had knotted up the teams’ face-off 63-63 with just seconds remaining. The long distance triple set up the final margin of victory and handed White County a victory in its second game decided by just three-points in four days; the Warriors previously fell to Franklin County, 68-65, just days earlier.
What do you think the odds are that Hurst could pull that off again? His shooting form sure looked good, huh?
