In addition to the Nike EYBL Peach Jam and Adidas Gauntlet events that spanned the state of Georgia, there was a third major prep hoops event over the weekend: The Under Armour All-America Camp. The Under Armour Camp had a harder time keeping some teens who were part of teams that qualified for the other two events, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t ample quality on show.
The rising junior was apparently sick of waiting for scrimmage teammates to make something happen, so he took matters into his own hands and cut right to the hoop, exploding above a would-be defender and throwing down one of the most powerful dunks of the year.
For a guy who stands just 6-foot-2, that is some explosiveness, the kind that has earned Duval scholarship offers from the likes of UConn, Syracuse, Kansas, Louisville, Villanove and SMU, to name just a few.
Duval still has a while to decide on his future, which is a good thing .The more time we have to watch him do things like that dunk at the prep level, the better.
