A state-by-state look at the nation's remaining undefeated football teams

As we have since the midway point of the season, we’re checking back in on which states have the most undefeated teams.

The total right now stands at 269.

Last season, 139 teams in 11-man football finished without a loss with Texas leading the way with nine. New York and Florida had eight each.

With several states having crowned champions and others still in the playoffs, Texas is again in the lead with 22 followed by California and Georgia with 17 apiece. Florida has 14, while New Jersey has 13.
