Beacon football falls to Harrison

The visiting Beacon High School football team lost to Harrison 28-21 on Friday.

Harrison led at halftime 14-7 and the Bulldogs (1-2) rallied to tie the score at 21-21 through three quarters.

QB Jaden Navarro threw two touchdown passes of 78 yards to Alex Benson and 60 yards to Forever Williams. Benson also rushed for 102 yards and a three yard TD run. Williams had six receptions for 125 yards. Defense was led by Joey Ferrone with 13 tackles.  All three extra points were kicked by Andre Davis.

Harrison had a goal-line stand in the game’s final minute to preserve the win, said Beacon coach Tony Truscello.

Beacon is home next week against Byram Hills.
