Buffalo Gap dominates Luray in three-set win

LURAY — Buffalo Gap used a strong front line game Thursday to ease past the Luray Bulldogs 25-16, 25-17, 25-19 in a Shenandoah District volleyball contest.

Abby Flint and Emily Hanger led the way with 13 and 12 kills, respectively. Each also had two blocks. Kaylee Mills added five kills.

Katie Foster led the servers with 12 points including five aces. Flint had nine points and four aces. Rachel Wirth and Camille Ashby each had six points.

Ashby also contributed 27 assists while Mills had nine digs.

Luray won the jayvee match in three sets.

The Bison, now 9-1 on the season, host Stonewall Jackson on Tuesday.
