Buffalo Gap takes Luray in three

BUFFALO GAP – Emily Hanger led the way with 15 kills and three blocks Tuesday as Buffalo Gap swept past Luray 25-22, 25-14, 25-21 in Shenandoah District volleyball action.

Also contributing to the good offense was Camille Ashby with 13 service points including five aces and 29 assists while Abby Flint was credited with 10 service points including four aces, six kills and three blocks.

Katie Foster had seven service points, and two kills, Rachel Wirth five kills and Kaylee Mills four service points and three kills.

With the win, the Bison improved to 15-2 on the season.

Luray’s jayvees posted a 25-18, 21-25, 15-8 win over the Bison.

Buffalo Gap travels to Stonewall Jackson on Thursday.
