Central Catholic (Lawrence, Mass.) jumped 12 spots and Broadneck (Md.) entered at No. 12 in the latest USA TODAY Sports/National Soccer Coaches Association Super 25 for fall girls soccer.
Central Catholic is now at No. 11 and improved to 4-0 with a victory against Methuen. It had yet to allow a goal through Sunday’s games, which closed the period for this week’s rankings. Goalie Amanda Fay had to make one save or fewer in three of the four wins.

The ranking does not reflect an impressive 5-2 victory against Lincoln Sudbury on Monday. Lincoln Sudbury has eliminated Central from the state tournament in each of the last two seasons and is among the top teams in the state.
Broadneck, the top team in Maryland, joins the Super 25 after a 3-0-1 start. Including among those victories is a 2-1 win against Archbishop Spalding (Severn, Md.).
Defending Super 25 champion Davis (Kaysville, Utah) remains at No. 1, followed by Northern Highlands (Allendale, N.J.). Strongsville (Ohio) flips places with Glastonbury (Conn.) and is now No. 3. Massapequa (N.Y.) stays at No. 5.
Joining Broadneck among the newcomers are No. 16 Wayzata (Plymouth, Minn.), No. 23 Northport (N.Y.) and No. 24 Seattle Prep.
