Croton's Burke and Scarsdale's Mehlman each net four; underdog Suffern ties Clarkstown South

The Croton Tigers should pay their scorekeeper double after Friday’s game against Irvington in which the two teams combined for 14 goals, the lion’s share (or in this case, the Tigers’ share) going to Croton, which had 10.

Teagan Burke accounted for four of them. But she wasn’t the only one to find the back of the cage four times. Jilly Mehlman also did so in Scarsdale’s win over Ursuline.

Recaps of those games, the Suffern-Clarkstown South tie and others from Friday follow below.

(Note: Deb Schechter will cover tomorrow’s 2:45 p.m. game at Mamaroneck High in which the one-loss Tigers face undefeated Lakeland. Follow the action of what promises to be a very good game on Twitter: @LoHud_Debbie . )
