District games get in full swing this week

There aren’t a lot of games with the sizzle factor this week after Thursday’s game between Byrd and Captain Shreve.

The District 1-5A race gets going with Evangel-Parkway perhaps the marquee game of the week. Can anyone stop the runaway train of Justin Rogers and Terrace Marshall? One mind that could do it is Byron Dawson.

In District 1-4A, the Woodlawn–Northwood contest could define the season for the winner. Benton, Minden and North DeSoto should all be favored in their games.
