Five-star wide receiver Tee Higgins of Oak Ridge (Tenn.) committed to Clemson on Monday.
A former Tennessee commit, Higgins chose Clemson over Ohio State, Ole Miss, Florida State and Tennessee. He announced his commitment video Bleacher Report video on Twitter that culminated with orange and purple fireworks on the Fourth of July.
Higgins is ranked as the nation’s No. 15 overall prospect in the Class of 2017 and No. 3 wide receiver in the class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
He committed to Tennessee is August and then changed his mind in February and reopened his commitment.
Higgins, who is heading to The Opening Finals in Oregon this week, had 46 catches for 841 yards and 16 receiving touchdowns last season.
