Notre Dame (West Haven, Conn.) point guard Tremont Waters committed to Georgetown Wednesday afternoon during a press conference at his school.

The crafty 5-foot-11 floor general picked the Hoyas over Kansas, Indiana and Kentucky.

He took a visit to Georgetown on Oct. 15.

Waters, who is ranked No. 32 overall in the ESPN 100, averaged 25 points per game for South Kent (South Kent, Conn.) last season and pumped in 15.4 points, five assists and five rebounds a game for Expressions Elite (Mass.) at the prestigious Nike Peach Jam in July.

He is Georgetown’s first commit from the 2017 class.

Here’s what the Hoyas are getting in Tremont Waters.
