Here is a look at the top performers from Tuesday’s season-opening girls basketball games in the Lansing area. This list reflects stats submitted by coaches.

LAYA HARTMAN, OKEMOS: The sophomore guard scored 28 points to lead the Chiefs to a 57-28 win over Chandler Park.

AUTUMN KISSMAN, MASON: The Oakland signee opened her season with 25 points and 12 rebounds in the Bulldogs’ 52-35 win over Battle Creek Lakeview.

ELIE SMITH, FOWLERVILLE: The sophomore had 22 points,11 rebounds and five steals to lead the Gladiators in their season-opening win over Sexton.

KATELYN RICHMOND, LAKEWOOD: Led the Vikings with 20 points in their 57-52 loss to Belding.

OLLIE UPDIKE, FOWLERVILLE: The junior guard scored 18 and added five assists and four steals for in the Gladiators’ victory.

TESSA HOSFORD, BATH: The senior had 17 points to help the Bees open the season with a 61-38 win over Stockbridge.

GABIE SHELLENBARGER, LAKEWOOD: The senior scored 17 points for the Vikings.

LOGAN KYRE, OLIVET: The senior had 17 points for the Eagles in a 63-42 win over Parma Western.

MADDIE MALONEY, ST. JOHNS: The junior guard scored 17 points for the Redwings in their loss to Howell.

GRACE GEORGE, DEWITT: The junior paced the Panthers 16 points in a 60-12 win over Everett.

BECKA POLJAN, LANSING CATHOLIC: The junior had 16 points to help the Cougars to a 56-28 win over Perry.

EMILY SPITZLEY, PEWAMO-WESTPHALIA: Spitzley had 16 points to lead the Pirates in a 68-23 win over Napoleon.
