Adam Witscheber scored two goals, including the game-winning goal with 1:15 remaining, and Andrew Ebersol added a hat trick to lead No. 6 Penfield to a 6-4 upset victory over No. 3 Hilton in a boys Class BB quarterfinal hockey game Saturday.

Ebersol scored a short-handed goal with 12 seconds left in the second period to narrow the deficit to one for Penfield, 3-2.

Ted Cessna scored a goal with 10 minutes remaining to give Hilton a 4-3 lead.

Ebersol tied the game with 7:16 remaining for the Patriots.

Frank Gaffney scored two goals for the Cadets.

No. 6 Aquinas 5, No. 3 Brockport 4 (OT)

Alex Opladen scored the game-winning goal on a power play with 2:26 remaining to lead Aquinas (5-12-3).

Andrew Harley tied the game with 4:48 remaining to send the game to overtime for Brockport (13-3-5).

No. 4 Greece Athena/Odyssey Thunder 2, No. 5 Webster Schroeder 1

Colin O’Leary and Dylan O’Hare scored the game-winning goal early in the second period for Athena/Odyssey.

Connor Ball scored a goal for Schroeder.

Luke Green recorded 19 saves for the Thunder.

No. 1 Webster Thomas 9, No. 8 Churchville-Chili 1

Brayden Deming had two goals and two assists and Zac Fosdick added two goals for Thomas (15-4-2).

Ryan Babineau made 10 saves for Titans.

Alan Brault scored the lone goal for C-C.

Class A quarterfinals

No. 5 Rush-Henrietta 4, No. 4 McQuaid (S/O)

Keegan White scored the game-winning goal in the second round of the shootout for R-H.

Cameron Kuzniar made 5-of-6 saves in the shootout and recorded 62 saves for the game for the Royal Comets.

Darrick Smith, AJ Nestler and Justin Varney each had a goal and an assist for R-H.

Marcus Sherman totaled a goal and an assist for McQuaid.

Class B quarterfinals

No. 4 Irondequoit 2, No. 5 Canandaigua 1

Phil Barilla scored two goals, including the game-winning goal with 5:06 remaining in the game for Irondequoit.

Joe Post scored a goal for Canandaigua.
