After seven weeks of high school football, Climax-Scotts remains among the best teams in the state.

The Panthers were the lone Battle Creek area team to be represented in the Michigan Associated Press prep football poll released on Tuesday.

Climax-Scotts came in at No. 3 in Division 8 after the Panthers stayed undfeated on the season with a 56-6 victory over Bellevue. Climax-Scotts next visits Bay City All Saints (2-5) on Friday in a non-conference contest.
