Heading into the final week of the high school football regular season, Climax-Scotts is considered among the best in the state.

After keeping their perfect season intact and improving to 8-0, the Panthers were ranked No. 2 in Division 8 in the Michigan Associated Press prep football poll released Tuesday.

The Panthers will look to close out the regular season Friday, when they host New Buffalo (3-5) in a non-conference contest.
