Kirby Smart celebrates Alabama's National Championship by recruiting for his new job at Georgia

About nine hours ago, Kirby Smart was the defensive coordinator for Alabama and had just won his fourth national title with the Crimson Tide.

Just seven hours later, he was back on the grind and officially starting his job as the head coach at Georgia.

Smart welcomed six players who early enrolled to Georgia’s program on Wednesday morning: CB Chad Clay, OT Ben Cleveland, QB Jacob Eason, TE Isaac Nauta, WR Riley Ridley and DT Julian Rochester.

It’s a quick turnaround for Smart, but the recruiting world never sleeps. With just a month before National Signing Day (Wednesday, Feb. 3), don’t be surprised if Smart welcomes more of the nation’s elite to Athens.
