We told you about West Orange-Stark (Texas), which has allowed just two points all season — on a safety, but here is another very impressive statistical accomplishment on defense.
Lee County (Leesburg, Ga.) has allowed seven total rushing yards in five games. Yes, seven.
Among the reasons for the defense’s excellence is defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon, who had 17 tackles, four for losses, two sacks and two QB hurries in a 37-7 victory against Thomas County Central last week.
Solomon, who decommitted from Michigan in August, is ranked as the No. 5 defensive tackle in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Lee County’s defense gets a big test this week against Houston County (Warner Robbins), which is 6-0 and is led by Georgia quarterback commit Jake Fromm, the No. 4 pro-style QB in the country.
Houston County has posted 274 points in its six wins.
