9:36: FINAL: Warren Central 35, Ben Davis 34.

9:35: Tonte gets the first down, fumbles, but recovers his own loose ball with 1:35 left. Looks like this game is on ice.

9:30: Interception Dijon Anderson! Warren Central looks to be in perfect position to run the remaining 2:18 off the clock and win the game.

9:29: Big sack of Reese Taylor for Warren Central. They force a third and long on what could be the Giants’ final possession.

9:21: Have a feeling the Warriors are going to try and ride Tonte to the finish here. And why not? The guys is a load to bring down.

9:16: Oh my. Ben Davis just intercepted Summeier for a pick-6. Keilan Laws read the QB’s eyes all the way and jumped the pass. Extra point is no good, and the Warriors retain a narrow lead, 35-34 with 7:54 remaining.

9:12: Quick snap gets past Reese Taylor, who wasn’t looking for it. It’s 3rd and very long for the Giants. … After an incomplete pass, the Giants will have to punt.

9:08: Summeier throws his fourth touchdown pass of the game with a fade to Bell. Bell now has two touchdowns today, as Warren Central seizes a 35-28 lead with a 10.21 left in the game.

9:04: Tonte and Tate are taking the Warren Central offense up the field quickly. Definitely some thunder and lighting here.

9:01: End of 3 at Warren Central. The Warriors and Giants are tied at 28.

8:59: QB sneak, and it’s a touchdown for Ben Davis! Reese Taylor punches in the touchdown and after the XP, the game is tied at 28. 0:27 seconds left in the third quarter.

8:56: Joey Person bursts through a massive hole in the Warren Central defense and runs for 40-pus yards down to the Warriors’ 10-yard-line.

8:54: Ben Davis comes up with a huge stop on fourth down to get the ball back in their own territory. Reese Taylor and the Giants offense back on the field looking for a touchdown to even the game.

8:45: By the way, if the game ended as is, Preps Insider Kyle Neddenriep would have pretty much called it. He predicted 27-20 Warren Central. It’s currently 28-21 Warren Central.

8:44: Warren Central defense forces a Ben Davis punt, and the Warriors will take over at the Giants’ 48 with about five minutes to go in the third quarter.

8:40: Touchdown Warren Central! Summeier connects with Bell for Summeier’s third TD pass of the game. It’s 28-21 Warren Central with 6:34 left in the third quarter. Bell did a nice job of adjusting to that ball in the air.

8:37: Summeier is creeping up on 300 yards passing for the night. Would be the first such game of his career.

8:36: It takes about four to five guys to tackle Tonte. Sometimes. Other times, that’s not enough.

8:33: Tonte is summersaulting all over the field tonight.

8:32: That passing touchdown was 65 yards.

8:29: Ben Davis backup quarterback Azjai Cooper just hit Jermaine Hoskins for a long touchdown! It’s all tied up at 21. Reese Taylor came out for a play because he lost his helmet, and the offense didn’t skip a beat.

7:27: Reese Taylor is just so darn shifty. He picks up a crucial 4th down and  3 after making a couple Warren Central defenders miss.

7:25: Warren Central is having trouble trying to balance playing good pass defense and containing Reese Taylor on the ground.

7:22: Wow. What a pass by Reese Taylor, who completes a 19-yard pass up the seem for a first down on 3rd-and-18.

7:21: Giants didn’t need that. Reese Taylor scrambles a long way for the first down, but a holding call will negate it. It’s now going to be about 3rd and 18.

7:19: First big play for the Giants. Taylor hits Cooper up the middle for about 20 yards. It’s the first first down for the Giants.

7:16: Great kick return by Ben Davis. Absolutely needed, as the Giants looks to get back in this game.
