Mikal Kalus defeated Cristina Torres 6-0, 6-0 at second singles, as the New Paltz High School girls tennis team defeated visiting Ellenville 4-1 on Monday.

Field hockey

Goalie Kristen DeSousa made five saves for host Roy C. Ketcham, while Allison Pritz made four for John Jay, as the Indians and Patriots battled to a 0-0 tie.

Rhinebeck 7, Ellenville 1 — Elle Ping had four goals to lead the visiting Hawks.

Kingston 4, Red Hook 0 — Julianna Schaffrick had nine saves, but the Raiders lost in Red Hook.

Rondout Valley 1, Webutuck 0 — Makayla Milano made seven saves in the loss for visiting Webutuck.

Volleyball

Laura Kulhmann had 14 aces and eight kills, while Juilia Krasinski had 18 aces to help lift Pawling to a 3-0 win over visiting Carmel.

Clara Lombardo added 28 assists and 11 aces.

Horace Greeley 3, Roy C. Ketcham 1 — Naraya Price had 11 kills and four blocks for the visiting Indians. Teammates Alexis Sabatelle (22 assists) and Brianna Rizzo (13 digs, two kills) contributed.

Boys golf

Host Millbrook defeated Rhinebeck 192-203 at par-36 Millbrook Golf Club.

Tyler Schaad led the Blazers with a 2-over-par 38. Steve Byrum had a 44 for the Hawks.

Girls swimming

Host Our Lady of Lourdes defeated Beacon, 95-67.

Anne Bubel won the 200 individual medley in a time of 2:33.92, Eleanor Bolander won the 200 freestyle (2:15.40).

Cornwall 49, Highland 41 — Antonia DeMassio won the 200 freestyle (2:10.94) for the visiting Huskies at Cornwall High School.

Cornwall 52, Marlboro 35 — Kerry Flynn finished second in the 200 individual medley (2:41.42).
