Marlon Tuipulotu makes impact in his return for Central

The absence of Marlon Tuipulotu was noticeable, and his return was apparent.

Central’s 6-foot-2, 275 pound senior defensive lineman, who has verbally committed to play at Washington, had 10 tackles, including two for loss with one sack in Friday’s 32-6 loss Lebanon.

He missed Central’s two previous games due to injury.

Tuipulotu has 29 tackles with four for loss this season.

Spencer Clements, Silverton football: The junior receiver caught five passes for 78 yards and a touchdown in Thursday’s 17-0 win against South Albany.

Parker Stutzman, Santiam Christian football: The senior running back rushed for 191 yards and one touchdown in Thursday’s 12-7 win against Taft.

Andreas Delgado, South Salem football: The junior running back rushed for 116 yards on 13 carries in Thursday’s 12-0 win against McKay.
