Jim Harbaugh’s recruiting tour was looking up Monday night, literally.
The Michigan football coach was on an in-home visit with four-star Los Angeles Loyola cornerback David Long Jr. in Pasadena, Calif., and the recruit documented it on Snapchat.
According to the photos, which show different parts of the visit, Harbaugh was outside playing catch with a little kid. Then suddenly, there was an image of him climbing a tree.
Long is scheduled to make his announcement Thursday on the ESPN “Recruiting Nation” show and already showed a preference for Michigan when he wore Michigan armbands while playing in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl this month.
At least five Michigan coaches — Harbaugh, linebackers coach Chris Partridge, tight ends coach Jay Harbaugh, defensive coordinator Don Brown and defensive line coach Greg Mattison — were all documented by Long on Snapchat.
With Long presumably behind the camera, the coaches were asked, “How’s business?” They responded, in order: “Business is good,” (Jim Harbaugh). “Booming,” (Partridge), “Never been better,” (Jay Harbaugh), “Nice,” (Brown), and “Great,” (Mattison).
For Harbaugh, who was visiting safety Isaiah Simmons in Kansas earlier in the day, it was just another day on the recruiting trail.
