Mountain Pointe (Ariz.), Allen (Texas) reach Top 10 in Super 25 Computer rankings

Mountain Pointe (Phoenix) and Allen (Texas) have moved into the Top 10 of the latest Super 25 Computer rankings.

Mountain Pointe (8-0) continues its rise from No. 13 two weeks to No. 11 to No. 8. Mountain Pointe is coming off a 27-13 victory against Desert Ridge (Mesa, Ariz.).

Coming off a dominant victory against Guyer (Denton, Texas), Allen comes in at No. 9, jumping up from No. 13.

The top six remains the same: Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas), IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.). Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.), St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.), Centennial (Corona, Calif.) and Colerain (Cincinnati).

DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) is up one spot from No. 8 to No. 7.

Following Mountain Pointe and Allen, Loyola Academy (Wilmette, Ill.) closes out the Top 10.

Roswell (Ga.) starts the second 10 at No. 11, followed by Trinity (Louisville), Jenks (Okla.), Mission Viejo (Calif.) and Saguaro (Scottsdale, Ariz.). Saguaro is No. 15 after entering the rankings at No. 21 two weeks ago and moving to No. 16 last week.

Brother Rice (Chicago) is ranked No. 16. Wayne (Huber Heights, Ohio) is No. 17, followed by Mill Creek (Hoschton, Ga.), Warren Central (Indianapolis) and The Woodlands (Texas).

Grayson (Loganville, Ga.) leads the newcomers in the Super 25 Computer rankings at No. 21. Palatine (Ill.) also jumps in the rankings, followed by American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.) and newcomers Hoover (Ala.) and East St. Louis (Ill.)
