Mountain Pointe (Ariz.), Loyola Academy (Ill.) move into Top 10 in Super 25 Computer rankings

Mountain Pointe (Phoenix) and Loyola Academy (Wilmette, Ill.) have moved into the top 10 in the latest Super 25 Football Computer rankings.

Mountain Pointe, which entered the Super 25 last week at No. 13, is now No. 9. Loyola, which had been No. 15, moved to No. 10.

The top three spots remain the same: No. 1 Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas), No. 2 IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) and No. 3 St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.).

Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) moves up to No. 4 following a loss by De La Salle (Concord, Calif.). Centennial (Corona, Calif.) is next followed by Colerain (Cincinnati). Trinity (Louisville) is No. 7, DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) is No. 8 followed by Mountain Pointe and Loyola.

Jenks (Okla.) moves up 13 spots from No. 24 to No. 11, Wayne (Huber Heights, Ohio) is down one spot to No. 12. Allen (Texas) goes from No. 16 to No. 13.

Salt Lake City East, which beat De La Salle, moves into the Super 25 at No. 14 followed by Mission Viejo (Calif.) at No. 15.

St. Joseph’s Prep (Philadelphia) is up three spots to No. 16. Good Counsel (Olney, Md.) enters the rankings at No. 17. Warren Central (Indianapolis), Bergen Catholic (Oradell, N.J.) and Mill Creek (Hoschton, Ga.) round out the Top 20.

The final five are The Woodlands (Texas), Bingham (South Jordan, Utah), Roswell (Ga), De La Salle and Center Grove (Greenwood, Ind.)
