Nashville and Idabel equal Arkansas state record with combined 154 points

Nashville (Ark.) and Idabel (Okla.) equaled the Arkansas state record for combined points in an 11-man football game when Nashville rolled to a 91-63 victory, according to the Northwest Arkansas Gazette.

Hot Springs Lakeside and Fountain Lake combined for 154 points in 2008, with Fountain Lake winning 88-66.

With the victory, defending state 4A champion Nashville ran its winning streak to 18 games, the longest active streak in the state.

Darius Hopkins had eight touchdowns in the first half on runs of 1, 3, 35, 42, 46, 4, 69 and 11 yards as Nashville led 56-36. He finished with 269 yards on 19 carries.

The teams combined for 1,340 yards — 747 for Nashville and 593 for Idabel.
