The Climax-Scotts football team traveled over 160 miles to Bay City on Friday night, and made the trip worth it with a 51-7 victory over the All Saints.
The Division 8 third-ranked Panthers (8-0) were led by Adam Schantz, who had eight carries for 89 yards and three touchdowns, while adding a 31-yard interception return for a score.
The Climax-Scotts secondary made it a ‘no fly zone’ in the contest, as Dylan Butler picked off a pass for his area-leading sevent interception of the season, while Nathan Vicker recorded his sixth interception of the year. Schantz also led the defense with 10 tackles.
Noah Eshuis had a team-high 148 rushing yards on 11 carries, while Climax-Scotts received single touchdown runs from Zach Tullis (22), Dylan Butler (23), L.J. Behlke (32) and Nathan Vickery (15).
Climax-Scotts will attempt to complete its second straight perfect regular season when it hosts New Buffalo on Oct. 21.
