Prairie Ridge (Ill.), Cass Tech (Mich.), East St. Louis (Ill.) join top 10 in Super 25 Computer football rankings

The top 10 in the Super 25 Computer football rankings got a substantial makeover.

Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) and Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) remained in the top two spots, but the shifting ensued from there.

Based on its victory against Centennial (Corona, Calif.), St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) jumped over IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) into the No. 3 spot. IMG is No. 4.

DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) moved up three places to No. 5.

Prairie Ridge (Ill.) climbed from No. 12 to No. 6 after winning the Illinois 6A state title. Grayson (Loganville, Ga.) went from No. 14 to No. 7.

Off its loss, Centennial dropped from No. 5 to No. 8.

Cass Tech (Detroit) won the state title in Michigan and moved to No. 9 from No. 21.

East St. Louis (Ill) rounded out the Top 10, rising from No. 13 after winning the Illinois 6A title.

Chandler (Ariz.) knocked off Mountaine Pointe (Phoenix), 36-17 in the Arizona 6A championship game. Chandler moved to No. 11 from No. 19.

St. Ignatius (Cleveland) was next followed by Allen (Texas), Trinity (Louisville) and Oakland (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) at No. 15. Oakland is the highest ranked newcomer to the Super 25.

Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) comes in at No. 16, followed by Camas (Wash.), Bingham (South Jordan, Utah), McGill-Toolen (Mobile) and newcomer Mill Creek (Hoschton, Ga.).

DeSoto (Texas) starts the final 5, followed by Roswell (Ga.), St. Joseph’s Prep (Philadelphia), Saguaro (Scottsdale, Ariz.) and Elk River (Minn.), which is back in the rankings.
