The high school sports scene is packed with good events right now, here’s a look at the top few for this week.

Regional golf

Fort Collins and Poudre will play in Tuesday’s 5A Central Regional at City Park Golf Course in Denver. Rocky Mountain played its regional last week, with Cam Nagel earning a trip to the 5A state tournament Sept. 26-27 in Grand Junction.

Volleyball

Football

Rocky Mountain vs. Poudre, 7 p.m. Friday at French Field. The last crosstown football game of the season features two teams looking to pick up a rebound victory.

It’s the last nonconference game of the season for Poudre, who is looking to be 3-2 entering its bye week. The Impalas lost an overtime heartbreaker to Fossil Ridge on Friday.

Rocky Mountain will look to shake off a lopsided loss to Fairview and pick up its first win of the season.
