The Liberty Common High School boys’ cross-country took third place as a team and had two runners finish in the top 10 at the Patriot League Invitational held Saturday in Brush.
Nate Dowdy was the top finisher for the Eagles, crossing the finish line in 17:17 to earn an eighth-place finish. Jacob Doman was right behind Dowdy, finishing in 10th place and with a time of 17:20. Kyle Gee was the third Liberty runner to finish in 17:40 and 18th place.
On the girls side, Josie Doman was 10th in 21:02 and Elizabeth Martinez finished in 13th and a time of 21:36.
Because of their performances, Dowdy and Jacob and Josie Doman were named first-team all-conference and Martinez earned an all-conference honorable mention.
