Among the big games on the Super 25 schedule this week is in Texas where No. 6 DeSoto faces Cedar Hill, which was ranked No. 5 in the Preseason Super 25 before its season-opening loss to Bishop Gorman.
A crowd of 10,000 is expected for the showdown between schools that are six miles apart and players that grew up together and spend time together on a regular basis.
“When you play DeSoto, it’s a different feeling. It’s more intense because of the bragging rights,” Cedar Hill senior tight end Kyland Richey told the Dallas Morning News. “We grew up with these kids.”
According to USA TODAY High School Sports’ score predictor, this will be a close one as to be expected.
Score Predictor uses data from the Super 25 computer to compare two teams and plays multiple simulations to determine the most likely result.
