Soccer roundup: Spackenkill boys score 5 straight, win

Jake Kaufman had a goal and two assists as host Spackenkill High School’s boys soccer team defeated Ellenville 5-1, scoring five unanswered goals on Thursday.

Tucker Lee, Travis Klipp, Joey Guerriero and Nick Genco also tallied for Spackenkill (6-1). Quinn McGinnis made three saves.

Red Hook 5, New Paltz 1 – Owen Sagerman and Colin Sullivan each had two goals and two assists as the host Raiders (6-2) beat the Huguenots. Jon Leon also scored for Red Hook.

Elijah Tamarchenko scored for New Paltz (4-3-1).

Millbrook 4, Pine Plains 2 – Alex Censi had a hat trick as the visiting Blazers topped the Bombers. Chris Maresca also scored for Millbrook. Blazers goalkeeper Matt Castagnozzi made seven saves.

Christian Aldana scored both goals for Pine Plains. Omar Santiago made six saves.

Beacon 4, Hendrick Hudson 1 – Devin Lambe scored twice to lead the host Bulldogs to a win over the Sailors.

John Mesnick had a goal and an assist for Beacon. Kyle Davis also scored.

Dover 4, Onteora 0 – Romero Pasquale, Gabe Dellavigne, Jamal Williams and Ray Abreu each scored for the host Dragons, who improved to 4-2.

Arlington B 3, Mount Academy 1 – Diego Hollis scored the winning goal for the visiting Admirals (5-2) in Esopus and Kyle Traver and Joe Swanson also tallied in Arlington B’s fourth straight win.

Haldane 4, Pawling 1 – Seth Warren and Andre van Dommele each had a goal and an assist as the visiting Blue Devils (3-3) beat the Tigers.

Justin Roffman and Justin Villa also scored for Haldane. Tristan Zirofsky tallied for Pawling.

Mahopac 3, Roy C. Ketcham 2 – Dan Veliz and Dylan Ramage scored for the host Indians (5-2), who lost. Chris Argiento made four saves.

Saugerties 1, Poughkeepsie 0 – Jose Martinez made 12 saves, but the host Pioneers (4-4) lost.

Wallkill 4, Marlboro 0 — Tyler Kluge made seven saves for the visiting Iron Dukes (1-7-1).

Tappan Zee 2, Our Lady of Lourdes 0 – Brayton Clerke made five saves and Thomas Seipp made four, but the Warriors  (1-5-1) lost at home.

John A. Coleman Catholic 3, Webutuck 1 – Thomas Stephanopoulos made four saves, but the host Warriors lost in Amenia.

Girls soccer

Meagan Meeuwisse made 11 saves, but visiting Beacon lost 3-0 to Sleepy Hollow to fall to 6-3.

Arlington B 2, Nyack 1 – Shevaun Judon and Irena Ciferri scored for the host Admirals (5-3) in a victory late Wednesday.

Lindsey Wood made five saves for Arlington B.

Highland 6, Rondout Valley 0 – Brooke Harris and Teresa Mazzella scored two goals apiece as the host Huskies shut out the Ganders late Wednesday.

Emily Peterson and Olivia McEntee also scored for Highland (2-7).
