It was on the basketball court on which Teagan Quitoriano built his reputation.
The 6-foot-6, 218 pound junior from Sprague High School build a reputation as a versatile player who could make an impact anywhere on the court by averaging 23 points and 11 rebounds per game and being named honorable mention all-state.
But in Sprague’s 48-7 win Friday against South Salem, Quitoriano proved that he can use his athleticism in multiple venues.
He caught two passes for 31 yards and two touchdowns, broke up a pass, had a sack, two tackles for loss and intercepted a pass in the win.
Quitoriano was selected as the athlete of the week by a poll of readers.
