Tennis: Top seeds LeVitt, Boyden advance in singles

In the Northern 4A Regional twennis tournament, top-seeded McKenna LeVitt advanced to the semifinals Tuesday at Bishop Manogue, as did boys top seed Riley Boyden.

All four top seeds on the girls side advanced, No. 2 Tara Chilton from Manogue, No. 3 Lauren Kreutzer from Spanish Springs and No. 4 Erica Schwab, from Reno.

On the boys side, No. 2 Tim Zagar from Damonte advanced as did No. 3 seed Mikael Tillikainen, from Reno. No. 5 seed Zeke Brooke from Damonte beat No. 4 CJ Hess from Galena.

In girls doubles, No,. 9 seeds Amy Cohen ande Allie Eftimoff from Galena are in the semifnals after beating the top  seeds.. No. 2 seeds Emma Breeding and Anya Woodbury from Carson are also in the semis.

In boys doubles, top seeds Chase Gonfiantinio and Nick Rinehart from Reno are in the semis as are No. 2 seeds Ben Vincze and Maxwell Richmond, also from Reno.

Semifinals are at 1 p.m. Wednesday, followed by finals at 3:30, also at Manogue.
