Top junior DeAndre Ayton posts ridiculous numbers in triple-double

As far as triple-double go, this one has to be among the best.

DeAndre Ayton, the No. 1 player in the Class of 2017, posted 52 points, 33 rebounds and 10 blocks for Hillcrest Prep (Phoenix) in a 71-67 victory against Sunrise Christian (Wichita, Kan.). He also had four steals and four assists.

The game was part of The Grind Session event in Lawrence, Kan., and among those in the stands was Jayhawks coach Bill Self. Ayton watched the Kansas-Texas game earlier in the day.
