Haynesville remained undefeated on the season with a 54-20 victory over D’Arbonne Woods in District 1-1A action on Friday night.

Trent Franklin tossed four touchdown passes, including one each to Kavacion Webster, Jamarceon Jackson, Treyon Hunter and Jerious Bittle to lead the Tors. Ed Critton ran for 65 yards and two scores for Haynesville (6-0), the state’s top-ranked 1A team.

Bittle posted 92 yards with a rushing touchdown, and Hunter added 45 yards. Franklin also had a rushing touchdown and 203 passing yards.

Bossier 41, Northwood 33: At Bossier, the Bearkats (1-2, 3-3) picked up a rare win against the Falcons (1-2, 2-4) in a surprisingly big offensive game for coach Mike Concilio’s club. The Falcons scored late to get within one, but were unable to get the onside kick.

North Webster 47, BTW 22: At Springhill, TJ Hawthorne carried 17 times for 125 yards and four touchdowns to lift the Knights to the District 1-3A victory. Hawthorne, who accounted for six scores, had one on a reception covering 48 yards and returned a kickoff 60 yards for a score.

Jalen Thomas ran for 148 yards and a TD, while Moddisette added 101 rushing yards.

Logansport 45, Northwood-Lena 0: At Lena, a running clock was used the entire game as the Tigers (6-0) rolled on the road. The game was over by 8:15 p.m., according to Logansport coach Kevin Magee, as the teams played 8-minute quarters in the second half.

Lincoln Prep 22, Plain Dealing 12: At Grambling, the Lions (1-2, 3-3) suffered a disappointing loss on the road to the Kittens (1-0, 2-4), who won for just the second time this season.

Lakeview 26, Lakeside 12: At Sibley, Lakeview evened its season record at 3-3 with the victory against winless Lakeside (0-6).

St. Mary’s 41, Montgomery 6: At Natchitoches, the Tigers (3-3) continued rolling offensively with the easy victory over winless Montgomery (0-6).

Red River 32, J-Hodge 14: At Coushatta, the Bulldogs are now 5-1 on the season after getting a win against the scrappy Tigers (1-5).

Arcadia 54, Ringgold 18: At Arcadia, the Hornets (2-1, 4-2) climbed back in the District 1-1A race with the victory over Ringgold (0-3, 2-4).

Cedar Creek 55, Homer 12: At Ruston, scoring big has become the norm for the Cougars (2-0, 4-2), who managed an easy win over the Pelicans (0-3, 0-6) on Friday.
