Brett Neilon played tackle for Santa Margarita Catholic (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.), but his future at the next level is at center.

Neilon will end his high school career at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl before he begins at USC.

He received his honorary jersey Wednesday when the Selection Tour presented by American Family Insurance came to his school. He was recognized in front of family, friends and classmates.

The Army Bowl is Jan. 7 in San Antonio and will broadcast on NBC.

Neilon, who is 6-2 and 280, is ranked as the No. 2 center in the Class of 2017. He committed to Southern Cal in June over 19 other offers.
