St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) quarterback Re-al Mitchell has continued to get better as the season has progressed and follow in the footsteps of the Braves’ long line of successful QBs.

In the CIF Southern Section semifinals against Centennial (Corona, Calif.), Mitchell probably had the best game of his career in a 49-47 victory and showed off his dual-threat capabilities.

Through the air, he was 18 for 23 for 287 yards and three touchdowns. On the ground, he had 116 yards on 14 carries and ran for the game-winning 73-yard score.
