A game of tag with Trinity Catholic (St. Louis, Mo.) High School quarterback Isaiah Williams would be no fun, as the above video illustrates.
The play, starting at 0:17 of the above clip, begins with Williams taking the shotgun snap deep in his team’s territory. What transpires after that is an athletic symphony from the sophomore.
First, a spin move to avoid a tackle near the line of scrimmage, followed a few yards later by a quick juke to the right. But he wasn’t done there, racing across the field. And when another defender though he had a chance at ending Williams’ already jaw-dropping jaunt, the quarterback juked back to the left. He then weaved through several more defenders before going into the end zone untouched for the 81-yard score.
The amazing scamper was one of three touchdown Williams scored on the ground (he added one in the air) as Trinity Catholic improved to 8-0 with the 63-6 win over host St. Charles.
The 5-foot-10, 160-pound Williams has already received nine FBS scholarship offers, according to both Rivals and 247sports.com.
