LiAngelo Ball scored a whopping 56 points Tuesday night as defending Super 25 champion Chino Hills (Calif.) beat Orange Lutheran 121-89, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Chino Hills, ranked No. 10 this season, set a state record with 18 games of 100 or more points last season and there is no indication, the Huskies plan to slow down. Chino has hit 100 in both of its games this season.
Ball, a senior who will join older brother Lonzo at UCLA next season, got most of his points on the interior.
“What are you going to do?” Orange Lutheran coach Chris Nordstrom told the Times. “There were 207 possessions in the game. It’s a different look without Lonzo, but they’re really good. You have to play four quarters.”
