Volleyball: Scoreboard for Wednesday, Sept. 21

I spent my off night doing some book research in Ossining, as I’ll usually be doing on Wednesday evenings. I’m back on the grind today, with Eastchester at Harrison volleyball on my schedule. Below, please find the link to Tuesday’s post, followed by Wednesday’s results and Thursday’s schedule.

Here are the roundups for Wednesday, Sept. 21:

Keio 3, Blind Brook 2: Takako Hasegawa had 17 aces in a 23-25, 26-24, 25-20, 22-25, 25-17 win. Manami Akita and Mizuki Tanaka added six aces and nine kills for the Unicorns, respectively.

Fox Lane 3, Port Chester 0: Arielle Putter had nine aces in a 25-12, 25-12, 25-8. Caroline Scanlan added six aces and four kills.

Tuckahoe 3, Palisades Prep 0: Molly Colasacco had three aces and four digs in a 25-15, 25-10, 19-25, 25-10 win.

Suffern 3, Ramapo 0: Kristen Conway had 11 kills in a 25-17, 25-17, 25-17 win. Jessica Tarantino added 14 digs for the Mounties.

Valhalla 3, Pleasantville 0: Sam Morillo had 12 kills in a 25-14, 25-9, 25-13 win. Linda Rossi added nine kills for the Vikings.

Dobbs Ferry 3, Hastings 0: Gabriella Maggi had six kills in a 25-6, 25-11, 25-12 win. Nicole Malinov added five aces.

Irvington 3, Woodlands 0: Kelly Degnan had eight kills and three aces in a 25-20, 25-16, 25-11 win. Grazianna Ricciardella added 21 assists for the Huskers.

Holy Child 3, Greenwich Academy 0: Victoria Hanley had 25 service points and nine aces in a 25-20, 25-11, 25-12 win.

Haldane 3, Ketcham 0: Jazmyn O’Dell had seven aces, including five that were consecutive, in a 25-17, 25-13, 25-18 win. Brooke Vahos added 10 kills and nine assists. Apryl Norton added five aces for the Blue Devils.

Albertus Magnus 3, Saunders 1: Kate Mager had 16 kills, eight aces and two blocks in a 22-25, 25-15,25-14, 25-19 win. Maeve MacNeil added six kills for the Lady Falcons.

Pawling 3, Putnam Valley 1: Jaclyn Smith had 17 kills in a 25-17, 25-22, 14-25, 25-21 win. Allie Dick had 11 kills, three aces and five blocks in the loss.
