Vote: Enquirer High School Football Player of the Week

Each week during the high school football season, we will ask our readers to vote for the top performance of the week from that Battle Creek Enquirer coverage area.

We will total all the votes during the week and have a winner by Thursday. The winner will get an Enquirer Football Player of the Week T-Shirt.

Week 8 candidates:

Dawson Bartlett – Harper Creek: Bartlett had a touchdown run and added a halfback  pass for a  touchdown for Harper Creek as the Beavers clinched an Interstate 8 Conference title with win over Marshall.

Cam Face – Marshall: Face had two touchdown receptions and added two interceptions in Marshall’s loss to rival Harper Creek.

Jahmiel Wade – Battle Creek Central: Wade had three touchdown passes, a touchdown run and an interception for the Bearcats in a loss to St. Johns

Josiah Kitchen – Lakeview: Kitchen had a touchdown run, a touchdown pass and rushed for 93 yards from his quarterback spot as the Spartans clinched a playoff spot in a win over Niles.

Adam Schantz – Climax-Scotts: Schantz had three touchdown runs and added a touchdown on an interception return for the No. 3-ranked Panthers, who remain undefeated on the season.
