It’s the Week 6 Kentucky HS football preview with the C-J’s Jason Frakes and Chris White looking at this week’s monster games in the Louisville area.

SPENCER COUNTY (4-1) AT COLLINS (3-1)

* Kickoff: 7:30 p.m.

* Storyline: Could go a long way in determining Class 4-A, District Four winner.

* Spencer County: The Bears ran their winning streak to four with a 34-12 victory over Bullitt Central last week. Junior Kadin Smith (10 carries, 157 yards, three touchdowns) and senior Branden Leff (11-100-1) had big games on the ground. Spencer County is averaging 321.8 rushing yards per game, ranking No. 2 in Class 4-A behind Johnson Central (364.5 per game).

* Collins: The Titans suffered their first loss last week, falling 49-30 at traditional Class 3-A power Boyle County. Junior quarterback J.R. Lucas had a big game in the defeat, throwing for 288 yards and four touchdowns, but also getting intercepted three times. Junior Nasean Roseberry (29 catches, 397 yards, five touchdowns) and senior Dalton Maggard (23-389-8) are the Titans’ top receivers.

* The pick: Collins 34-30.
