Result: Previous: 1. The Bears downed St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes 14-7 on May 9, an IAC playoff semifinal victory that sends Landon back to the conference championship. Joey Epstein (Johns Hopkins) scored four times and added an assist in the win. The Bears will face No. 13 Bullis (Md.) on May 12 in pursuit of the program’s 31st IAC title.

IMG Academy

Bradenton, FL 11 - 1 - 0

Result: Previous: 2. IMG Academy finished its regular season with two wins on the road, outrunning McCallie School (Tenn.) 19-9 and then Centennial (Ga.) 21-9. The Ascenders resume includes wins over a slew of top New England prep schools and Everest Academy (Ont.). The lone loss of the year for IMG was a one-goal, last-second loss in their season opener to the Hill Academy (Ont.).

Culver Military Academy

Culver, IN 17 - 1 - 0

Result: Previous: 3. It was an impressive past week for the Eagles, who allowed only five goals across three victories against DeSmet Jesuit (Mo.), New Trier (Ill.) and Brother Rice (Mich.). Culver wraps up the regular season at home on May 13 against Glenbrook North (Ill.).

Hill Academy

Result: Previous: 4. The Hill Academy lost its first game since March 13, 2015, when the Pride fell 4-2 to No. 3 Culver Academy (Ind.) on April 23. It was the regular-season finale for The Hill. The Pride still has one of the most impressive resumes in the land, having faced a head-turning schedule of opponents. The Pride own wins over Super 25 squads IMG Academy (Fla.), Boys’ Latin (Md.), and La Salle College High School (Pa.).

Brunswick-Greenwich

Greenwich, CT 12 - 1 - 0

Result: Previous: 5. The Bruins picked up two key wins over New England competition in the previous week, rolling a talented Westminster (Conn.) 12-4 and then handling Super 25 No. 9 Avon Old Farms (Conn.) 12-5, giving the Winged Beavers their first loss of the year. Brunswick hosts No. 15 Salisbury School (Conn.) on May 12 in a premiere New England Super 25 showdown.

Result: Previous: 6. Darien had a strong week in earning a 9-4 win over previously ranked Super 25 opponent St. Anthony’s (N.Y.), capturing a 10-3 win over Ridgefield (Conn.) and then completing a 23-0 shutout against Norwalk (Conn.). The Blue Wave is at Trinity Catholic (Conn.) on May 11.

Result: Previous: 13. The Explorers grabbed a big 9-8 win over No. 23 Haverford (Pa.) on May 10, a Super 25 win to strengthen La Salle’s resume. The Explorers added a win over Archbishop Carroll (Pa.) last week as well. They host Cardinal O’Hara (Pa.) on May 11.

Avon Old Farms

Result: Previous: 7. The Winged Beavers suffered their first loss of the year, falling to No. 5 Brunswick (Conn.) 12-5 on May 10. The loss came after Avon had improved to 12-0 with a 10-6 win over Trinity Pawling (N.Y.). The Winged Beavers look to bounce back on May 13 in one of their biggest matchups of the year, a date with No. 17 Deerfield (Mass.).

Calvert Hall

The Cardinals had a huge week in MIAA A Conference play, collecting a 13-6 win over Severn (Md.) and then capturing an 11-10 double-overtime victory over No. 11 Boys’ Latin (Md.). Brendan Curry (Syracuse) scored the game winner. The Cardinals remain undefeated in their conference approaching the backstretch of the season. They host St. Paul’s (Md.) on May 12.

Result: Previous: 12. After taking a 12-7 win over Loyola Blakefield (Md.), the Lakers were handed their first in-conference loss – an 11-10 double-overtime setback to No. 10 Calvert Hall (Md.). Boys’ Latin, second in the MIAA A Conference standings, is at Gilman (Md.) on May 12.

Bullis School

Result: Previous: 16. Bullis cruised through the IAC playoffs, advancing to the upcoming finale with a 13-7 win over Georgetown Prep (Md.). The win gives the Bulldogs another shot at rival and No. 1 Landon (Md.), a team they played to a 10-8 loss back on April 13. Bullis won last year’s IAC title, the program’s first, over St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Va.).

Result: Previous: 17. The Green Wave earned an impressive 10-8 win over No. 20 Chatham (N.J.) on May 9, the second win over the talented Cougars squad already this season. Delbarton added additional wins to it resume this past week, downing Mendham (N.J.) and Roxbury (N.J.). Delbarton hosts West Essex Regional (N.J.) on May 11.

Salisbury School

Result: Previous: Unranked. The Crimson Knights return to the Super 25 as the view of the New England region becomes clearer and thanks to a huge win in the past week. Except for an early season loss to Choate (Conn.), the morning after a one-goal battle with No. 2 IMG Academy (Fla.), Salisbury has taken care of business. Salisbury took down No. 16 Taft School (Conn.) on May 10, 14-11, for their second big win of the year, already owning a two-goal win over No. 23 Haverford (Pa.).

Result: Previous: 10. The Rhinos fell in a 14-11 battle with new No. 15 Salisbury School (Conn.) on May 10. Taft looks to get back on track on May 13, hosting Loomis Chaffee (Conn.) at home.

Woodlands

Result: Previous: 18. The Woodlands continues to roll and has reached the final weekend of the season in the Lone Star State with the Texas High School Lacrosse League championships on deck. The Highlanders improved to 23-0 with a 9-6 win over St. Mark’s in the quarterfinals and will meet the Episcopal School of Dallas in the Division 1 semifinals on May 13.

Result: Previous: 19. The Friars put together another strong week, earning two quality wins in the Inter-Ac. Malvern downed Springside Chestnut Hill (Pa.) 16-7 on May 5 and then defeated Penn Charter (Pa.) 11-3 on May 9. The Friars host the Episcopal Academy (Pa.) in the regular season finale on May 12.

Chatham

Result: Previous: 20. Chatham picked up wins over Morristown Beard (N.J.) and Mountain Lakes (N.J.), but then suffered its second loss of the year on May 9. The Cougars fell 10-8 to No. 14 Delbarton (N.J.) in another Garden State heavyweight matchup. Chatham is at Kinnelon (N.J.) on May 13.

Bridgewater-Raritan

Result: Previous: Unranked. Still undefeated and with one of the strongest resumes in the Garden State, the Panthers lurk into the Super 25. Like in previous years, Bridgewater-Raritan’s strength has been its defense. No team has scored more than eight goals against the Panthers so far this season. They close out the regular season against Montgomery (N.J.) on May 13.

Saint Ignatius

San Francisco, CA 18 - 2 - 0

Result: Previous: 21. The Wildcats routed Serra-San Mateo (Calif.) 19-1 in the WCAL semifinals, setting up a rematch of last year’s championship with Bellarmine Prep. St. Ignatius took home the 2016 title with a 12-9 win over Bellarmine Prep. This spring, the Wildcats downed the Bells 16-4 in the regular season. They will be heavily favored on May 12.

Haverford

Haverford, PA 13 - 6 - 0

Result: Previous: 23. Haverford had a dramatic week in the hypercompetitive Philadelphia area. The Fords picked up a quality 12-11 overtime win over Garnet Valley. A key win came earlier in the week for Haverford: a 14-10 win over Penn Charter, a team that upset the Fords in April. On May 10, Haverford was edged 10-9 by No. 8 La Salle (Pa.). The Fords close out the regular season on the road May 13 against Springside Chestnut Hill (Pa.)
