Result: Previous: 1. McDonogh is on the verge of completing yet another undefeated run to the elite IAAM A Conference championship in Maryland. The Eagles extended their winning streak to 176 games this past week, taking down new No. 21 Glenelg Country School (Md.) in the conference semifinals. Julia Hoffman (Maryland) led the offense with three goals and two assists. The victory sets up a meeting with No. 3 Notre Dame Prep (Md.) in the IAAM A title game, scheduled for May 13 at Archbishop Spalding. A win would give McDonogh its ninth consecutive conference championship.

Glenelg

Glenelg, MD 15 - 0 - 0

Result: Previous: 2. The Gladiators collected two more wins in the previous week, both of them dominant displays of both offense and defense. Glenelg rolled to a 20-2 victory over Reservoir (Md.) and then shut out Oakland Mills (Md.) 20-0 for a MPSSAA 3A/2A playoff win. It sets up a meeting with Centennial (Md.) on May 12.

Notre Dame Prep

Towson, MD 19 - 2 - 0

Result: Previous: 3. The Blazers earned a hard-fought 7-3 win over Garrison Forest (Md.) in the IAAM A Conference semifinals. The win puts Notre Dame Prep up against McDonogh, the nation’s top-ranked team and a well-known rival. The Eagles won the regular-season meeting 9-4. The two teams meet May 13 at Archbishop Spalding.

St Stephen's-St Agnes

Result: Previous: 4. The Saints took down Bullis (Md.) 17-4 in the first round of the DC ISL playoffs on May 11. They advance to take on the Holton-Arms School (Md.) on May 13. Zoe Belodeau (Penn) has registered 100 goals and 48 assists so far this season.

Result: Previous: 5. Ridgewood continues to roll, earning three more wins in the previous week to improve to 16-0. One of those wins was a key 10-8 victory over No. 9 Oak Knoll (N.J.). Chelsea Trattner (Stanford) is leading the way for the Maroons with 61 points. Ridgewood hosts Glen Ridge on May 13.

Result: Previous: 7. The Patriots finished the regular season without a loss, downing Smithtown West (N.Y.) 17-4 and outlasting Huntington (N.Y.) 13-10. Playing games on three consecutive days, two following the loss to Moorestown, Agnes Irwin scrapped to collect two more wins by downing Springside Chestnut Hill (Pa.) and Notre Dame Academy (Pa.). The team heads to Archbishop Carroll (Md.) on May 15.

Bishop Ireton

Result: Previous: 16. The Cardinals won their second consecutive WCAC title and third in four seasons with an impressive 12-4 victory over rival Good Counsel (Md.) on May 8. Madison Mote (Notre Dame) led the charge for the Cardinals, scoring four goals and adding an assist. Bishop Ireton now enters the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association postseason, which kicks off next week.

There, they put up a good fight against the top-ranked McDonogh Eagles, falling 12-7. To get there, they had to upend an Archbishop Spalding team that had downed Glenelg Country earlier in the year.

Result: Previous: Unranked. The Wildcats are rising out of the Section 3 madness. After edging Christian Brothers Academy (N.Y.) 6-5, the Wildcats downed Cicero-North Syracuse (N.Y.), one of the three teams that defeated them earlier in the year. The Wildcats also recently downed Fayetteville-Manlius, one of the other teams they lost to earlier in the season. West Genesee hosts Liverpool (N.Y.) on May 16.
