Jerry Wall

School: CBA

Highlights: It didn’t take Wall long to establish himself as one of the state’s top players. He captured the Galloway Challenge, on a tough course at Galloway National against a strong field early in the season. He backed that up with a victory at the Monmouth County Tournament, before placing second at the Shore Conference Tournament. The sophomore was fifth at the South/Central Non-Public A sectional, and shot 75 at the Tournament of Champions.

Vince Palazzolo

School: CBA

Highlights: Shortly after the sophomore was inserted into the Colts’ tournament lineup, he proved it was a smart decision. At the Shore Conference Tournament, he eagled two of his final four holes at Charleston Springs and won with a 69 as he helped the Colts shatter the tournament scoring mark. He was third at the South/Central Non-Public A sectional, and fired a 75 at the Tournament of Champions.

Ethan Wall

School: CBA

Highlights: A junior, Wall was expected to be one of the Colts’ primary weapons this season. He did not disappoint as he makes his third straight All-Shore first-team appearance. He finished second to his brother, Jerry, at the Monmouth County Tournament, placed fourth at the Shore Conference Tournament and second at the South/Central Non-Public A sectional. Wall then helped the Colts win the Non-Public A crown at the Tournament of Champions.

Jimmy Dengler

School: CBA

Highlights: Dengler rallied after a slow start, and came through for the Colts at the Shore Conference Tournamen. He posted a 73 and finished third, as the Colts shot a record 288 as a team at Charleston Springs. Dengler shot 79 at the Tournament of Champions, as the Colts rolled to the Non-Public A title. He will continue his golfing career next fall at Loyola, Md..

Dawson Jones

School: Howell

Highlights: There was some buzz about the incoming freshman at Howell before the season started. Jones certainly lived up to the hype. He was fourth at the season-opening Wall Invitational, placed sixth at both the Monmouth County and Shore Conference tournaments and then went out and won the sectional title in South/Central Group IV with a 72 at Linwood. He fired an 80 at the Tournament of Champions.

Tommy Burns

School: St. Rose

Highlights: A second-team All-Shore selection a year ago, Burns took his game to another level as a junior. He finished tied for sixth at the Monmouth County Tournament and tied for seventh at the Shore Conference Tournament. Burns then captured the individual title at the South/Central Non-Public B sectional. He shot an 82 at the Tournament of Champions.

Jared Goldstein

School: Freehold Township

Highlights: A model of consistency, Goldstein was the Patriots’ leader in both regular season and tournament play as a junior. He was thirdr at the Monmouth County Tournament. He proved that effort was no fluke at the Shore Conference Tournament as he finished fifth overall, and first among anyone not playing for CBA. His performances helped the Patriots finish second to CBA in the team standings at both events.
