Seth Guiler

Riverdale, Sr.

Position: Forward.

Why chosen: The Union signee scored a team-high 21 goals with seven assists. District 7-AAA Offensive MVP. Named to the Tennessee High School Soccer Coaches Association All-State team.

Patrick Wright

Oakland, Jr.

Position: Forward.

Why chosen: Wright scored eight goals and recorded 11 assists for the District 7-AAA runner-up Patriots.

CAMERON

KERPER

Smyrna, Jr.

Position: Midfielder.

Why chosen: Kerper scored a team-high eight goals with five assists for the Bulldogs this past season.

Derek Knotts

Smyrna, Jr.

Position: Midfielder.

Why chosen: Knotts was a key cog in starting the Bulldogs’ offense. He also scored four goals and had an assist.

Ben Meyer

Central Magnet, So.

Position: Midfielder

Why chosen: Meyer scored a team-high 11 goals with 19 assists for the District 8-A/AA runner-up Tigers this past season.

Alex Pope

Riverdale, Sr.

Position: Midfielder.

Why chosen: Pope scored four goals and recorded a team-high 11 assists for the Class AAA semifinalists.

John David

Anthony

Riverdale, Sr.

Position: Defender.

Why chosen: Anthony was a key member of the Warriors’ defense that gave up 21 goals in 20 games this season.

Josh Arman

Riverdale, Sr.

Position: Defender.

Why chosen: The Cumberland signee was the District 7-AAA Defensive Player of the Year despite having his season cut short due to injury. He was a Tennessee High School Soccer Coaches Association All-State member.

Eric Brewton

Oakland, Sr.

Position: Defender.

Why chosen: Top defender for the Patriots, who placed second in District 7-AAA a season after finishing last.

Ryan Stroh

Siegel, Sr.

Position: Defender.

Why chosen: Stroh had a diverse role for the Stars, playing every position but goalkeeper. He finished with 12 goals and eight assists for the Stars. He was named to the Tennessee High School Soccer Coaches Association’s All-State team.

Paxton

Mitchell

Blackman, Jr.

Position: Goalkeeper.

Why chosen: The Daily News Journal’s Player of the Year. He was named to the Tennessee High School Soccer Coaches Association’s All-State team. He had two shutouts and gave up one goal or less in 10 of the Blaze’s 16 games.
