These five players’ performances led their teams to Week 4 wins:
1) JON RESCHKE
Birmingham Brother Rice: The senior linebacker who has committed to Michigan State had 13 tackles and added 2 1/2 sacks to key Rice’s 28-0 victory over Warren De La Salle.
2) MICHAEL KEMPTON
Edwardsburg: He carried the ball 13 times and gained 260 yards, scoring touchdowns on runs of 71, 41, 78 and 19 yards to lead the Eddies to a 48-29 victory over South Haven.
3) DOUG FREEMAN
Buchanan: He carried the ball 17 times for 164 yards and scored TDs on runs of 4, 24, 3 and 41 yards. He also returned one of his three interceptions 64 yards for a TD in a 54-20 win over Sparta.
4) JOHNNY WILLIAMS
Holly: He had 370 yards total offense by returning a kickoff 85 yards for a TD, throwing a 67-yard TD pass and scoring on runs of 50, 60 and 72 yards in a 49-13 win over Clio.
5) OLLIE AJAMI
Dearborn: The quarterback completed 15 of 20 passes for 238 yards and two TDs and carried the ball 20 times for 92 yards and three TDs in a 35-14 win over Dearborn Edsel Ford.
