Have fun this year?

I had a lot of fun. It was a great season. The highlight was when we beat Murphy in the first round of regionals. We lost to them in a regular-season tournament, so we came in as the underdog, but we beat them.

Samford.

I’m going to stay in the books, and I’m going to play hard, work hard.

Carver career.

I was very happy with it. Being a four-year starter, I learned a lot, and I’ve become a better person and a better volleyball player.

Best Virginia Franklin story.

My ninth-grade year, we lost to Prattville, and she made us come back to the gym and run until about 11 o’clock. She’s a very intense coach, and I love her. She’s a very challenging coach. She challenged me a lot. She’s very emotional, but she’s a sweetheart. She can be evil sometimes, but she’s a sweetheart.

Developing senior-itis?

No. I don’t have senior-itis. I’m still in my books.

Goals rest of the year.

To finish school strong, make A’s and B’s and graduate. In basketball, we want to keep doing well and hopefully win state.
