THE WINNER: Conor Feckley
School: West Anchorage (Anchorage, Alaska)
Weight: 195 pounds
Athletic achievement: He passed for 2,305 yards and 23 touchdowns this past season, leading the Eagles (6-4) to the Large School semifinals. A three-time First Team All-State selection, Feckley set a state record with 7,099 career passing yards. As a senior, he completed 60 percent of his passes while throwing just five interceptions.
Academic excellence: Feckley has maintained a 3.30 GPA in the classroom.
Exemplary character: An active member of his church community, he has volunteered locally in association with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
“Conor Feckley is one of the most dynamic leaders who has ever played football in Alaska,” said West Anchorage head coach Tim Davis. “Not only does he have superior numbers compared to any quarterback in Alaska history, he is also respected by his peers, coaches and community.”
THE FUTURE: Feckley remains undecided upon a collegiate destination.
